The theme for Red Earth 2025 was remembrance and our plant ally was motherwort. Let us remember what is most important in these times we are in that can feel so unsettling and overwhelming. Let us return to the ways of all of our ancestors, living closely with the Mother Earth, remembering our ceremonies and the importance of time well spent together in harmony with all beings.

 

This remembrance is possible, and Red Earth is a place for us to be reminded and guided and held in a circle of support to deepen into ourselves, our DNA memories and to bring back the old ways. 

 

We chose motherwort as our plant ally because of her ability to nourish our heart and wombs. We must remember as women the importance of accessing our deep intuition through our wombs and our mother love through our hearts to envision and create in each moment the world in which we want to create for our children. 

 

We call motherwort into our hearts and wombs with deep breaths, trust, as we surrender into the arms of the Great Mother and remember we are held always in her love.

 

This year feels ancient, grounded, and profound. I look forward to welcoming you into the sacred circle with deep love, my sisters.
